Yah especially with an aluminum freehub body like the one on my Chris King. If it was designed for downhill id say sure but I guess it more towards the XC spectrum where your going to be putting a lot more torque on the drivetrain, what with all those climbs and stuff. So yah I could definitely see removal being an issue.

I don't think there was actually a large amount of photoshoping, maybe just a bit of contrast and the sepia effect.

IT not Gaussian blur or any kind of PS effect. Its a tilt/shift lens that creates a very shallow depth of field even at distance which creates the illusion of a different perspective. The only thing this photo can be accused of is good composition. Props dude.

No the old skyway rims could be trued by freezing them, but these are composite it deosn't have the same effect.

I'm not really a Kona fan but I agree entirely with you. They are solid bikes and and you never hear anything bad about them, proven over time through experience.
